I used an image from one of my sketchbooks and really went wild with the lettering. I was inspired by psychedelic posters from the 60s as well as the comic “Space Riders.”

I love working on mythical forest creatures. I was very happy to work with Dead Emperors on their second EP packaging.

I have been working with The After School Specials for almost 10 years both on and off stage. The students of the Shimek BASP get to form rock bands every year and each year we create a new t-shirt design.

Every year I am lucky enough to help bring rock to Camp Goosetown in Iowa City. This is the t-shirt design for 2019.

This t-shirt design was also used in a slightly altered form for the first Dead Emperors’ EP. It has gone into a second print run.

A poster for the release show for Dead Emperors’ self-titled EP. I used the t-shirt/ EP cover design as a focal point for this image to connect the event with the band’s main image at the time.

This poster utilizes both the image from the inside of the CD booklet and the cover.

I am particularly pleased with the distortion of the lettering around the central image.
